American Food Styles is managed by its president, Scott Florence. Scott holds a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
After five years’ experience in the food and hospitality business, Scott moved on to serve as President and CEO of Hill & Valley, Inc., America’s leading supplier of sugar-free and NSA (no sugar added) baked goods.
Prior to that, he was the President of Nancy’s Pies, Inc. and led the team through a sale to a private equity firm, Circle Peak Capital – and remained as President and CEO for the following six years. During his tenure, he launched over 200 SKU’s generating a cumulative value at retail of roughly a half a billion dollars.

Scott has been a member of the American Society of Baking, the Independent Bakers Association, The Development Association of Rock Island (DARI) and Illowa Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Scott is married and has two sons.
